Helix Supervisor is not a coding agent. It is the harness that other harnesses report to: hub-and-spoke or hierarchical, with budget circuit-breakers and an approval plane.
Deloitte's 2026 note called orchestration the inflection. Helix is that inflection as a product. Communication channels grow quadratically in a mesh; Helix refuses mesh above 80 agents and forces hub-spoke or hierarchy. That single policy is why Meridian's 4,280-agent delivery fleet still has a cost line they can explain.
